Wake

Uejk, possession the USA, consisting of islands Uejk, Uilksi and Saws, in the central part of Pacific ocean. A possession total area 7,7  sq. km, the population - about two thousand persons.

Islands have been occupied by the USA in 1899. Americans have built on islands aerodrome and test complexes for rocketry. Administration managerial control is carried out by military-air forces of the USA.
