Venezuela for any traveller from Europe is the first country of the South America as interocean airliners usually do intermediate landing in its capital the city of Caracas. Here in XVI century the first Spanish settlements - outposts for the further conquest of continent have been based also. Numerous islands of Caribbean sea and the cut up water front have reminded the first migrants of far Venice in Spanish sounding as Venezuela. The republic has gained independence in 1821  to year, as a result of national-liberation struggle under the guidance of the Simon of Bolivar.

The Population of Venezuela (20,7  million persons) in the core is divided into 3 big ethnic groups - white (Spaniards), mongrels and mulattos. Main agricultural regions and the largest cities - Caracas, Maracaibo, Cumana, Valencia, etc. are in the north of the country. In the south and in the middle the insignificant part of Indians and Negroes bunks.

Venezuela name the country of mounts, plains and woods. It can be divided into four discriminated on a landform, a climate and region vegetation: mountain range of the Andes, a dint of Maracaibo, Llanos (plains in basin of the rivers Apures and Orinoco) and Guiana highlands. As a whole in Venezuela a hot subequatorial climate - more droughty in northern neritic terrains and with a strongly pronounced season of rains in the middle the countries. Moderately hot mountain regions are most comfortable for life. Economic significance of flat hot Llanos in connection with the stores of petroleum found here recently has considerably increased.

The Most attractive tourist itineraries: Caracas - Ciudad Bolivar - the Ale-dorado (to the reservation with the same name and National park Kanaima), and also coast-wise Caribbean sea and to Lesser Antilles.
