Side

Surrounded with modern tourist complexes Side - today one of the most brisk resorts of the south of Turkey. The Greek colonists have lodged for the first time here in VII century B.C. In Side many ancient monuments - a statue of emperor Vespasiana, the Fate temple, agora, an amphitheatre on 16  thousand places were saved. In an archaeological museum which has taken places in terms on the market square, unique finds (mainly statues, sarcophagi), fragments of architectural structures, a sculpture are shown.
