Senegal

Senegal - the country in the Western Africa, from the West flowed about by Atlantic ocean. The square - 196,2  thousand sq. km. Before declaration of independence in 1960. Senegal was possession France, having saved the French tongue in the capacity of the state.

The main rivers - Senegal, Gambia and Kazamansa, the majority of other rivers dries up during a dry season. The vegetation almost in all terrain hardly is variated by farming agriculture and cattle breeding. In more wet south deciduous forests, and in the north and in the central parts of the country - kustarnikovye savannahs and semi-deserts (in the core - in boundary lines of national parks, largest of which - Niokolo-Koba) where it is possible to meet animals typical for Senegal, including elephants, giraffes, water buffaloes and river horses were saved.

Near seaport the oldest is had in a city business quarter to which from the West business streets with assemblage of workshops and little shops of aboriginal handicraftsmen border on. At coast luxurious quarter Fann with residences of embassies, country houses and comfortable hotels was stretched. Dakar is known also for that the itinerary of the well-known international autorally Paris-Dakar here comes to an end.
