Saudi Arabia occupies one of the first places in the world on extraction and oil exports. The part of profit on petroleum incomes puts the government in country development, the part uses on administration of loans to other Arabian states and capital investment in industrially educed countries.

the Capital Riyadh (2,2 million inhabitants) is had in the centre of Arabian peninsula. In 1950th years it was typically east fortified city with medieval shape: the twisting labyrinth packing of narrow streets, the mud houses paid by fronts in a yard, with covered markets and the strengthened palace. Now Riyadh - one of the advanced capitals of the Near East.

Other large modern city - seaport on the bank of Red sea and industrial centre Jidda. Jidda - diplomatic capital of Saudi Arabia. In a bayshore part of a city dazzling buildings of embassies and consulates are builted, the university is open. In the neighbourhood there is other large city - Mecca - the sacred centre of Moslems of all world. The central mosque of Mecca (occupies the space in 160  thousand both  sq. and  represents a majestic building with vosemju the minarets, faced by is tender-lilac marble. In a mosque courtyard there is sacred temple Kaaba, in one of which walls the sacred black stone of a meteoric parentage is built in.
