Republic of Trinidad and Tobago

the Republic is had on islands Trinidad and Tobagos in basin of Caribbean sea, near to northeast coast of Venezuela. The population - nearby 1,25  million persons. Country capital - Port of Spain (nearby 51  thousand inhabitants). The Official language - English.

Islands Trinidad and Tobagos are open by Columbus in 1498 (the name Trinidad - a Trinity - has been prompted Columbus by an aspect of three mauntains of a southern row of the island, well appreciable from the sea). Prior to the beginning of XIX century of island were colony of Spain, then have passed to the Great Britain. Independence has been intoned in 1962.

Indians the Arawaks, naming the native land the country of the humming-bird were Primordial inhabitants of Trinidad. A country climate wet, tropical. During a dry season, from January till May, heat is moderated by trade winds. In agriculture sugarcane effecting predominates.
