Nicaragua

Republic Nicaragua - the largest on terrain the state in Central America. East coast of the country is flowed about by waters of Caribbean sea, western - Pacific ocean. The square - 130  thousand sq. km. The population - 4,3  million persons. Capital - Managua. Nicaragua is an independent state since 1838.

In Nicaragua some historical features of colonisation of its terrain till now were saved. In due course the western part of the country (around loch Nicaragua) has been occupied by Spaniards, and east (Mosquito coast with an unhealthy climate and dense woods) - Englishmen. Nowadays from above 70 % of the population of Nicaragua Spanish-speaking mongrels - ladino compound, the countries living in the western part. The majority of inhabitants of the east of the country speaks on a dialect of the English tongue. Here too there lives the most numerous and isolated bunch of the American Indian population of Nicaragua - miskito.

Mountain ridges with fumed burning mountains, boggy lowlands, huge blue loches and the sweeping rivers with cataracts sparked on the sun, extensive, virgin ever-green forests represent the basic phylums of landscapes of Nicaragua. About half of terrain of the country occupies uplands with rather not hot climate. Temperature of the coldest month - January - at altitude 1500  the m compounds 16  °C. Windward, east parts of terrain open to a trade wind can gain to 5000  mm of deposits a year. Further to the West the precipitation decreases. Here two seasons - dry (November - April) and wet (May - October) are accurately enough tracked.

Nicaragua - the agrarian country, the basic which export crop a cotton plant, and also coffee, citrous. The capital Managua and other large cities (Granada, Leon) are had in the part of the country western, rendered most habitable and attent by tourists with the big picturesque loches and burning mountains.
