Memphis

On a path in the Sakkarsky necropolis can be curtailed to ruins memphis - capitals of pharaons of Ancient kingdom. Here, in a palm grove under a concrete appentice huge statue Ramzesa II, the great pharaon of XIX dynasty lays on land. Near to a statue there is an alabaster sphinx of an epoch of pharaon Amenofisa II. Once both the statue, and a sphinx decorated a southern pale of a temple the Bird from which now remains nothing.
