Climate of Egypt

the Climate of a narrow strand along Mediterranean sea - subtropical, in other terrain of the country - deserted tropical. Air here exclusively dry, all year long slightly overcast, deposits fall out very seldom.

For all terrain Egypt significant daily oscillations of temperature of air are characteristic. For example, in January-February in Cairo at midday the temperature can reach to 29  °C and to drop to 0  °C at night and more low. In Aswan in November air can get warm in the afternoon to 41 °C, and to drop to 3  °C at night. The average temperature of January variates from the north on the south from 14 to 17  °C, July - with 26 to 33  °C. In the south in a year falls out about 3 mm of deposits, in the north - to 200  mm. Feature of the vernal season are the southeast hot and dry winds blowing from desert, - hamsin. Air temperature in a time hamsina raises to 40 °C, humidity drops to 10 % and more low. The dust brought hamsinom, penetrates everywhere - into dwellings, cars, drives in a nose and a mouth.
