Socialist Republic Vietnam - the state in South East Asia, occupying east part of Indochina peninsula. In the north bounds on China, in the west - with Laos and Cambodia, from the east and the south it is flowed about by South China sea. Besides a continental part, to Vietnam islands Kondao, Fukok, etc. the Square - 332  refer to; thousand sq. km. A population - 70,9  million persons. Capital - Hanoi. In terrain of Vietnam bunks about 60 nationalities. The majority of the population (84 %) refers to to southern-mongoloidnoj small strain. The basic religion - the Buddhism.

The biggest city of Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh (the former Saigon), its population exceeds 4,2  million persons. The city has been builted as the port and economic centre of the French Indochina and has largely saved colour of old east city.
