the Climate of Malta

On climatic resources - to abundant of heat and light - the Maltese archipelago does not concede to the best resorts of the southern countries. The Maltese climate warm and congenial for health. Here does not happen cold winds, fogs, snow or of frosts. The total of deposits during the short rainy season compounds (November-January) only 583  mm.

Division into seasons here is rather conditional: on Malta almost always summer, and because of it the time leaks imperceptibly. In the winter (November-April) air temperature on the average nearby 14-15  °C. In February, in the deepest winter, on Malta - on the average six hours per day the cloudless, solar root, air temperature 15  °C, waters - 15  °C. At this time the island blossoms and turns green. In the summer (May-October) average temperature 23,1  °C. The hottest summer months - July, August when the thermometer style is lifted to 30  °C. Duration of solar light of 10-16 hours per day.

The Fresh breeze from the sea even at the highest summer temperatures does not admit sensation of intolerable heat. It is bound also by that on Malta there are no high mounts or of chains of hotels rising to the root which would prevent natural aerating of marine beaches. To bathe it is possible bravely in any place - inflow and otlivov are not present. In May-October the sea temperature averages 22,8 °C.
