In terrain of Romania about the equal squares occupy mounts, hilly elevations and lowlands. A main range of the country - Carpathians, they are concaved by an arch through all central part of Romania, cut by deep valleys of the rivers and topped by acute rocky heckles. About half of terrain of Romania it is ploughed up (fields, gardens, vineyards), woods were saved only in mounts and in bottom lands of the rivers. The largest inflows of Danube in terrain of Romania - Olt, Ardzhesh, JAlomitsa, Siret, Muresh (an influx Yews) - originate in Carpathians. A climate of Romania moderately continental, on Nizhnedunajsky plain there are droughts. The swimming season at coast of Black sea lasts from the end of June till the end of September.
