Short general data on Macedonia

the Bulk of terrain of Macedonia occupy srednevysotnye mounts (to 2764  m on boundary line with Albania) with flat apexes and abrupt slopes. Mounts are cut by deep river valleys. The greatest river of Macedonia - Vardar. In the country often there are earthquakes. Catastrophic earthquake has descended in 1963 when the city of Skopje has been destroyed.
