History of Poland

the Polish state has developed in X century, and throughout many centuries Poland was one of the most powerful countries of the Central Europe. But by XVIII century perennial heavy wars have led to country decline, it has lost independence and has undergone to several sections between Russia, Prussia and Austro-Hungary. The Polish state only in 1918 has been recreated, and in modern boundary lines Poland exists after the Second World War.
