Geography of France

France - the largest country of foreign Europe, it places on the square 551    thousand and  êâ  km. The proximal neighbours of France - Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Andorra. On straits La Manche (under which the tunnel now is dug through)   and Pas de Calais passes boundary line with the Great Britain. In the south of the country the nanous princedom of Monaco is had.

The Largest rivers of France - Loire, Hay, Garonne, Rhone and Rhine. They in the majority flat, navigable.

Except for two high-mountainous blocks - the Alpes in the southeast and Pireneev in the southwest, country terrain in the core hilly, with extensive lowlands and elevations and srednevysotnymi mounts. A climate of France (and all foreign Europe) - a mount Mont Blanc (4807 ).
