Frankfurt am Main

Ôðàíêôóðò-íà-Ìàéíå One of the largest agglomerations of Germany - Rejnsko-Main, its nucleus - Frankfurt am Main. During the Second World War the city has been annihilated on 95 %. Its modern skyscrapers which becomes more and more, became a symbol of the flourishing and self-assured Germany. Frankfurt name a city of banks, fairs and apple wine - apfelvajna (Apfelwein). The Frankfurt share and currency exchanges are leaders in Germany, in a city place more 200  banks, even headquarters of three of four largest banks of Germany are based. The city is known for the mass media, exhaustion obshchegermanskih newspapers.

In Frankfurt the great German poet, one of founders of the German literature of a new time - Wolfgang Goethe was born. In a city there is a museum of the poet. It is very beautiful dwelling of XVIII century giving complete representation about life of monogynopaedium of Goethe: the drawing room is upholstered by a blue cloth, the perfect furnace with bas-reliefs of the goddess of justice; the office of the great poet is on a second storey; on walls - portraits of the poet and Charlotte Buf who have excited it on Travails of young Werther - the best seller of the epoch. In Frankfurt in 1152  to year Fridrih Barbarossa has been selected by the emperor of Sacred Roman empire. Later, with 1562  year and till XIX century, all emperors were crowned in Frankfurt.
