East Timor
the State in South East Asia, occupying a part of island Timor and islands of Small Zondsky archipelago fitting to to it - Kambing and JAko. (Now East Timor is occupied by Indonesia and switched on in composition of this country contrary to resolutions of General Assembly and United Nations Security council.) the square - 14,9 thousand sq. km. The population 806 thousand persons: Malayans, Papuans, Chineses, etc. the Administrative centre - a city of Dili.
East Timor - highland. The highest mounts are in the west, in the east they gradually pass in a petrous plateau, and in the south - in narrow plain. A climate hot, equatorial. The best mid-annual temperature (38 °C) it is observed in the south, the maximum quantity of deposits - 1500  here falls out; mm. From November till May the northwest monsoon overtops. At this time there are continuous rains, the rivers spread, impervious become expensive. From June till November the southeast monsoon bringing dry breath of the Australian continent blows.
The Flora of East Timor, in comparison with magnificent vegetation of other islands of the Indonesian archipelago, is poor. Wet tropical woods meet coast-wise on the plain surrounded from three parties with mounts, and in the mountain gorges well protected from the Australian dry winds. The big squares occupy savannahs.
The Basis of economy of Timor is compounded by agriculture with orientation to effecting of export crops: coffee, rubber plants, a coconut palm. For a home consumption rice, corn, a sorghum, leguminous, a sugarcane is cultivated. An environment favours to animal husbandry development.
On Timor breed water buffaloes, goats, horses. Auxiliary holdings are the neritic deep-sea fishing, hunting, wood trades, handcrafts.
